Healing Honestly

Healing Honestly has over 500k readers drawn in by Alisa’s genuine transparency and humor—who knew healing from child sexual abuse could be so relatable? She tackles tough subjects like sexual trauma and mental health with an accessible approach that resonates with many.

Brand Strategy

We collaborated with the founder of Healing Honestly to create a brand identity that reflects her resilient spirit. This involved designing a logo for the initiative and establishing a cohesive visual language for use across different platforms. We produced Canva templates pre-loaded with textures, patterns and the brand colors, so on-brand social media assets and visuals could easily be generated into the future.

UX & Digital Design

Through discussions and workshop sessions, we helped reorganize the website’s structure to more effectively showcase her upcoming book, promote her workshops, and highlight her popular blog. We created a custom, modular, block-based design system within the WordPress CMS, allowing for easy addition of new content while preserving a consistent brand aesthetic.

Web Development

Alisa's communication style includes plenty of emojis and gifs—our favorite way to connect as well! We made sure her new site would support these elements, enhancing the overall user experience. We also incorporated a custom iconfont to give her even more design options and made sure important elements – like the newsletter sign up form – were highly visual to stand out and grab attention.
